When Samantha was 17 years old, both her parents died unexpectedly in a plane crash. Thankfully, her parents had planned for her to continue her education and since then, Samantha finished high school, college, and recently completed her Master’s degree. She is eternally grateful to her parents for planning for her education and she feels that she can help plan for her students’ future as well. Being the daughter of 2 international pilots, Samantha was practically born with wings. At 16 she earned her pilot’s license under her parents’ instruction. Since then, she has been an advocate for Women in Aviation and encouraging young women to explore the possibility of an aviation-related career. Samantha has been involved in pageantry for 10 years now. In that time she has held the title of Miss Teen Arizona 2014, Miss Virginia United States 2019, and National American Miss Virginia 2020. Samantha is a prestigious entrepreneur with two brands that she is incredibly passionate about. Her goals is to make a difference with her two companies while inspiring and making a difference in the lives of others.
S by S is inspired by the artwork of Samantha’s students. When Samantha began teaching, it was July of 2020 - right in the heart of the Coronavirus pandemic which meant her classroom of 20-something students got cut to 8 children and 2 adults. Samantha is eternally thankful to her parents for planning for her education, and because of how much Samantha values education, much like her parents, S by S designs gives back by offering 10% of proceeds to furthering the education of female entrepreneurs, Montessori children and schools, and to provide college scholarship opportunities.
